About Us

Lake Dalrymple Resort is known for its excellent fishing. The lake hosts many species of fish such as Pike, Bass, Crappie, Perch, Pickerel and Muskie. They’re bitin’! We offer small outboard fishing boat rental packages that range from half-day up to full week. Docking is also available for your own boat.

Our resort offers twenty-two fully equipped cottages located in a beautiful country setting. Lake Dalrymple is on the West, forest on the East. We’ve made preparing family meals simple with all the tools and utensils needed for indoor and outdoor cooking. Every cottage is fully equipped with a stove, refrigerator, BBQ with propane and your own private deck with outdoor seating.

The whole family will love visiting our convenience store! We have live bait for those fishing and a tasty snack selection including the best ice cream around from Kawartha Dairy.

Fun awaits! Kayaks for your enjoyment are launched from our small private sandy beach. Family lawn games include horseshoes, washers, cornhole and volleyball. We also have a playground, climbing area, shuffleboard and basketball net. Outdoorsy? Enjoy trails for hiking, biking, dog walking and bird watching.

We are in Carden Township right beside the Carden Conservation Area. Explore the splendour of this natural habitat that is home to hundreds of species in these rare alvars (wetlands, forests and grasslands). Carden Plain is in the top five birding locations in Ontario! 

Our resort is pet-friendly! Quiet, housebroken pets are welcome and must be on leash while outside and cleaned up after. When you check-in you’ll be required to show proof of vaccination for your pets.
